« In this work Philippe Terrier-Hermann functions as an intermediary that objectifies the personal lived experience of a place into a collective perception of a landscape or alternatively an image of a territory. By defining a number of groups of people that have a certain historical or professional relationship with the land, a second layer of understanding is created that might reveal a renewed notion of an archetypical view by those groups.
