“Dans un hôpital psychiatrique vénitien transformé en centre de recherche universitaire international nous assistons à la non rencontre de cinq de ces membres : un Italien fasciné par les discours sur la psychiatrie de Basaglia, une Irlandaise et un Belge obnubilé par les problèmes communautaires de leur pays respectifs, un Mexicain autiste vivant au rythme des bateaux reliant l’île à la péninsule et une Danoise poursuivant jusqu’à la mort les oiseaux peuplant cette parcelle de terre perdue dans la lagune.”
In a Venitian psychiatric hospital converted into an international research university, we take part in the non-meeting of five of its members: an Italian fascinated by the psychiatric discourse of Basaglia; an Irish woman and a Belgian obsessed by the community problems in their respective countries, an autistic Mexican living to the rhythm of the boats tied to the peninsula and a Danish woman, chasing to their death the birds which populate this little parcel of land hidden in the lagoon.
